At first, you’ll notice a beautiful manual coffee brewer, actually made of crystal—very pure and sparkling, a true delight to behold. But that’s not all; Timemore has created a unique pourover brewer that will brew high-quality coffee.
Designed with a concave principle, the lower part of the brewer, rather than slowing down the brewing process, actually accelerates it. This design results in a softer water flow and an even extraction.
There are three levels in the design:
- Insulation: The paper filter is securely attached to the smooth top of the brewer, preventing water from flowing through.
- Brewing: The actual brewing takes place here.
- Powder Level: The coffee grounds settle at the bottom level, which is less ribbed and more channel-like, promoting an optimal water flow and reducing the risk of over-extraction.
Our Favorite Recipe:
- Pre-wet the paper filter: This warms up the coffee brewer and removes any paper taste.
- 30 grams of coffee.
- Water at 94°C.
- 60-80 grams of water: Pour over the coffee to ensure a complete bloom.
- 200 grams of water: Pour in gentle, circular motions to evenly saturate all the coffee.
- 150 grams of water: Continue with gentle, circular pours for even distribution.
- Final 70-90 grams of water.
- Total brewing time: Should be between 2.5 and 3 minutes.
