Finca El Chorro

The farm is located near the Tacana Volcano, close to the city of Vila Comaltitlan in Chiapas, Southern Mexico. Founded by the Longo family, who have Spanish heritage, in the early 1900s, the family initially focused on coffee beans, which have been their most important source of income. The coffee is grown in harmony with the rich biodiversity of the area.

El Chorro covers 294 hectares, of which 27 hectares are dedicated to a nature reserve. The remaining area is a shade-grown coffee plantation, established in the 1930s by owner Don Segundo Longo and Doña Maria Luisa.
